Marshall Senior Center Harlan Hall, 6th and Locust, downtown Marshall This historic building is used to provide a meeting place for area seniors.
Peace Meals Seniors 60 yrs of age (or their spouse) are eligible for discounted prices on a nutritious hot lunch. Meals are $2.50 for lunches served at congregate sites or $2.75 delivered to the home Reservations for the meals must be made 24 hours in advance. Call (217) 932-5100 in the Casey area or (217) 826-5541 in the Marshall area for details. This is mostly an all-volunteer program funded through the Federal Older Americans Act. No one will be refused service due to an inability to pay.
Life Center Senior Services Clark County Offices....(217) 826-5155 Life Center offers assistance and information on services offered by the federal gov't, state agencies and county wide local agencies. Life Center is not a charity organization, is federally funded and relies on volunteers in addition to a paid staff. Life Center will also provide transportation to all seniors especially those in need of physical assistance.
