Real Estate Taxes

Real Estate tax bills were mailed on June 6, 2024.  All information will be available online June 7, 2024 at the above link.

Real Estate tax due dates are due July 25, 2024 and September 25, 2024.

*To avoid a 1.5% penalty per month, each installment payment must be made by the above due dates.

*A $25.00 charge applies to any returned check.


Payment Locations/ Options:

Clark County Courthouse

Real Estate taxes may be paid in the Clark County Treasurer / Collector’s Office at the Clark County Courthouse located at 501 Archer Avenue, Marshall, IL 62441.

Please use east entrance (6th Street) of courthouse.  Handicap access available at south entrance of courthouse, please ring doorbell for assistance.

Forms of payment accepted:   check, cashier’s check, money order, cash, debit, and credit

Convenience fees apply to debit and credit card payments

Via Participating Banks

Real Estate taxes may be paid at the following participating bank locations:

Casey State Bank – Casey and Martinsville
First Neighbor Bank – Casey
Preferred Bank – Casey

Forms of payment accepted:   checks, cashier’s checks, money orders, or cash

MUST have original tax bill stub to make payment.

Via Internet - Only Current Year Taxes

Real Estate taxes may be paid online at clarkcountyiltax.com

Forms of payment accepted:  E-check, credit card, or debit card.

Convenience fees apply to this service, collected by the service company, as follows:

E-Check - $2.00 fee per transaction (multiple tax parcels may be paid in one transaction)
Credit/Debit Card - $1.50 fee plus 2.5% per transaction (multiple tax parcels may be paid in one transaction)

MUST send original tax bill stub with payment.

To avoid a 1.5% penalty per month, your payment must be postmarked by the due dates listed above.

To receive receipt, you MUST send entire tax bill with self-addressed stamped envelope enclosed.
We will stamp top portion of bill paid and return to you in your self-addressed stamped envelope.
