Dallas grew up in Annapolis, IL and went to school in
Hutsonville, graduating in 1997. He then attended the
University of Illinois, graduating in 2001 with a
bachelorís of science in engineering.
After college, he was employed with a consulting firm
The Farnsworth Group for almost eight years. He worked
in St. Louis, Bloomington and Effingham, with the
majority of his time in Effingham.

It is the responsibility of the Highway department to construct, maintain and repair all of the county-owned roads and
bridges encompassing the 165 miles that make up the county road system. In addition, the department assists the 15 townships in
construction and maintenance of their 785 miles of township highways and 115 township bridges. The Department also provides engineering
and administers Township Motor Fuel Tax Funds and Township Bridge Funds for the 15 road districts in Clark County.

The Clark County Highway Department
is accepting bids for a 2013 John Deere 6140D tractor.
Sealed bids will be received at the Clark County Highway
Department; 15487 N State Highway 1; Marshall, IL 62441
until 10 A.M. on the 22nd day of February
2017. Bids will be opened and read February 22nd
at 10 A.M. at the Clark County Highway Department.
